God’s Timeline

God’s work from beginning to end

God is and brought life through His creation of the universe to show His glory (Ps 19:1) to His creation (Read Gen 1-2). This was the start of time as we know it. Then came God’s instructions for Adam an Eve, but they rebelled, bringing sin and death into God’s paradise (Read Gen 3) and decay upon all of God’s creation (Rom 8:20-22). Freewill, without it mankind would be robotic, unable to know love; with it, we caused catastrophic mind-blowing destruction - many times over.

With the entrance of sin, came judgment, death: for the wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23); Mankind continued sinning bringing further judgment from God for mankind’s wickedness resulting in a global flood (Read Gen 6-8). Still mankind continued to rebel against God who told them to spread out throughout the earth: they tried to remain together resulting in God confusing the people’s language at Babel and His disbursing them around the globe (Gen 11).

The price of reconciliation with God is perfection. With none able to do it, God came in the likeness of His creation (Phil 2:5-8) to use His righteousness to save us from ourselves (Rom 5:17). He was born by a virgin (Isa 7:14), lived among His creation only to be rejected by us and falsely sentenced for our crime of rebellion (1Cor 15:3). Then after death, He rose to life (Mt 28:7), death cannot hold sinlessness captive. It is for this reason Christians preach the gospel (good news) to all: reconciliation is for all who obtain God’s free gift! We look foreword to the time Christ will rule the earth for 1,000 years in peace (Rev 20:4). Then comes Satan’s fail stand, his destruction and the destruction of the whole universe, which will melt with great heat (2Pet 3:10). God will then create a new heaven and earth (Rev 21-22) where He will live on earth with His creation as He intended from the beginning. What a day that will be!

Three types of Christians; Two types of people

The world needs to see, not merely hear, Christianity. There are three Christian groups existing today: Proclaimer, Pretender and Pure. There are also two types of people in the world, Christian and non, God’s seed and Satan’s seed: everyone is born in the family of Satan (Ps 51:5; 1Jn 3:10) and under his influence, blinded by him (2Cor 4:4) until one’s day of deliverance, salvation, a gift from God (Eph 2:8-9). We live life through one of two prospectives: God’s or Satan’s.

Banner pictures, what do they symbolize?

The banner tells God's story, both history and future, from beginning to end, as revealed in Scripture.

  1. Creation of all things in six literal days.
  2. Curse of man due to sinful rebellion against God.
  3. Catastrophic global flood, a judgment of God because of the wickedness of mankind.
  4. Confusion, the world’s single language turned multiple due to mankind's continued rebellion against our Creator.
  5. Christ, His virgin birth, ministry, crucifixion, resurrection and ascension back to heaven.
  6. Calling the world to repentance and reconciliation to God our Creator..
  7. Coming 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth.
  8. Climatic end of heaven and earth.
  9. Creation of God's new heaven and earth.

The Great Commission

It is said by many to be converting the souls of non-Christians to Christian, but Scripture tells it differently: we are to make disciples (Mt 28:19-20), not convert souls, which is God’s job, (1Cor 3:5-7) and we are to preach to gospel throughout the world to unbelievers trusting in God to save.

We preach the good news of the gospel, God’s reconciliation plan for mankind through His free gift of life, to those on the road to death. We tell the unbeliever reconciliation with God is though the righteousness of Christ (2Pet 1:1) because we can NOT do it ourselves! If we could, Christ’s work on earth was in vain (Gal 2:21). We preach to all because we do not know who God will save (Jn 1:12-13), those God gives His son (Jn 6:37).

We make disciples, TRAIN, Christians to live out their Christianity so they can be examples to the world of what God looks like and they too can make disciples: TRAIN, others in the faith to love God and others while living out our faith until that glorious wonderful day we see Jesus face to face!
